The City of Santa Monica is requesting Letters of Interest (LOIs) for the sale of a rare vacant oceanfront multi‐family residential property located at 1920 Ocean Way. This surplus real property is owned by the City and is offered for sale in “as is” condition. The deadline to submit written LOIs is May 17, 2012.
INITIAL REVIEW OF LOIs This Request for Letters of Inquiry will be open for a two month period, beginning March 19, 2012 and ending May 17, 2012. City staff will review and consider LOIs throughout the period.

Section 8 Owner/Landlord Direct Deposit Enrollment
Would you like to have your monthly Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) be directly deposited into your bank account instead of receiving a paper check?
To enroll for this direct deposit program, please download and complete the Authorization for Direct Deposit Form and mail the original, with a voided check attached, to the address shown on the form. (Instructions for completing form)
We encourage all Section 8 Owners/Landlords to sign up for Direct Deposit!

Family Self-Sufficiency Program

The Santa Monica Housing Authority is currently accepting applications for the Family Self Sufficiency Program (FSS). The FSS program is a voluntary five-year program for families with Housing Choice Vouchers. The main goal of the program is to help families get good jobs and earn enough money so they do not need public cash assistance. Families get education, job training and other services. To apply you must be must be 18 years of age or older and committed to participating in activities that include case management, educational and vocational programs. You may apply by contacting the Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator at (310) 458-8743.
