The mission of the Finance Department is to provide sound business, financial and risk management support to internal and external customers, ensuring continuation of public services to the residents, visitors and businesses of Santa Monica through the protection of financial resources.
Regular Business hours:
Monday through Thursday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
Alternating Fridays – 8:30am to 4:30pm
Payment for utility bills, parking citations, and business license renewal may be placed in the blue drop box located at the front of City Hall at 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica or by visiting our public counter during regular business hours. The public counter is located on the ground floor at 1717 4th Street, Suite 150. The following services are available by telephone or on the internet 24 hours a day:
