What Is A Free Home Water Assessment? |

At the customer's request, a City staff Water Resource Specialist visits
the site, checks for indoor leaks and the flow rates of toilets, showers
and faucets. The auditor provides a report with water saving
recommendations. Assessments can be performed in homes, condominiums,
town homes and/or apartments. |

Why Have a Free Home Water Assessment? |
|
Customers with high water usage or unusually high water usage for one or
more billing periods benefit from the assessments by identifying leaks or
water wasting fixtures/appliances then fixing the problem before it gets
worse. Leaks are the biggest indoor water wasters. A leaking faucet can
waste up to 13 gallons per day! |

Who Can Participate? |

Any residential water customer of Santa Monica is eligible.
