This
indicator currently looks at the percent of new
and substantially rehabilitated housing that
complies with Green Building Ordinance #1995 as
a percentage of the total new and rehabilitated
housing. The target is to have an increasing
trend.
There is an update in process to the Green
Building ordinance to change requirements for
new construction in the city along the lines of
the US Green Building Councils Leadership in
Energy Efficient Design, (LEED), but they are
not directly tied to, for example, specific LEED
points (even though they may contribute to those
points). |
